“Touch me from afar” is a series of garments that invites people to rethink about connection, distance and intimacy. With the use of heat-sensitive fabric material, garments change color when being touched, creating an interactive experience that mimics the feeling of being hugged or touched from afar. Some materials features a customized print of video chat screenshots that the designer gathered from friends and their families, then creates silkscreen printed fabrics, showcasing the connections we make with loved ones across the world.
“Touch me from Afar” is a celebration of the connections that bring us together, no matter the distance.

Look 1: Memory jacket, wide pants
handmade silkscreen printed of video chatting moments. Linen wool blend with silkscreen pigments for the jacket, cotton silk blend for the pants.
A thin layer of vinyl tpu adding to the jacket, like a waterproof phone case, but for the jacket.
Look 2: Peaked lapel vest with thermal envelop bag, airplane seat belt buckle strap. Coated cotton twill.
Look 3: Thermal coat. Thermal PU leather.
